Subject: Survey of India 8-mile series?


I have discovered that we hold an uncatalogued single sheet of a Survey of India series at 8 miles to the inch (1:506,880), published in 1925, and on the same sheetlines as standard Survey of India 1:1M, 4-mile, 2- mile and 1-mile series.

Our 1923 Survey of India catalogue does not list this series.

Does anyone have an index or other information giving the extent of the series?

Our sheet is 77 SW, covering Tibet & a skerrick of Bhutan and Sikkim.
