One of our Geography professors is looking for maps showing the U.S.
military command areas
of responsibility on a global basis, and how these areas of responsibility
have changed over time.
We have the 1st and 5th eds. of "The World with Commanders' Areas of
Responsibility" by the
National Imagery and Mapping Agency, 1996 and 2002. We have also found a map
in John
Collins' book "Military Geography for Professionals and the Public" called
"U.S. Cold War
Areas of Responsibility (1983-1991)".
Does anyone know if any other maps like these exist, particularly for
earlier dates?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
