Hi,
I'm looking for a "Hunchjo" river/stream in India's Arunachal Pradesh
state (West Kameng district) and need some help. A Survey of India map
of the general area is here
<http://westkameng.nic.in/Maps/THIRIZINO.jpg>; it's also visible at a
smaller scale on the eastern and western edges (respectively) of AMS/JOG
sheets NG 46-2 <http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/india/ng-46-02.jpg>
and NG 46-3
<http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/india/txu-oclc-6614190-ng46-3.jpg>.
Allegedly, the river lies somewhere between the confluence of the Bichom
and Bhareli Rivers to the west, and the town of Seppa to the east.

Anybody have larger scale maps that might help (e.g., Soviet topos,
Ordnance Survey)? My copy of World Mapping Today says there's a Survey
of India 1:50K series, but that it doesn't cover NE India.

FWIW, this is territory disputed between India and China, so I have no
idea whose word "Hunchjo" is (assuming it's correct). Hunchjo does not
Google well (117 hits) and I found nothing geographically or
"toponymically" close in GEOnet. (Those AMS maps depict a lot of
river-like features called "nadi," which my old BGN gazetteer says is
Bengali for stream.)

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks very much.
mf
