As a practical matter, traditional mailing addresses ("snail mail")
should be included when people have questions. I am no longer sitting
on the Map Collection, but do print out and give to Rich Boardman those
items I think he would find interesting and those questions I think he might
answer. He at this time does not have e-mail and can't respond to those
questions his resources might answer without a mailing address. I don't think
this situation is all that unique and even when the e-mail is there, there
are times when photocopies serve better.
