I'm a relative newcomer to this list, so excuse please if this issue
has been discussed before.
I am interested in people's experiences with storing maps in locked
map cases in public areas, ie, outside a map room perhaps in a hall
way.  What have been the staffing effects of retrieving and reshelving;
were there security issues such as damaged maps, broken locks; etc. etc
Any information, pro or con, will be MUCH appreciated. Please send to
me directly or post to list. Thanks very much.
