Subject: interested in writing an article for Searcher magazine on
Census2000 digital-map data?
Sender: Mary Larsgaard <[log in to unmask]>

The editor of Searcher magazine is
considering an issue (perhaps for
June since that's printed in larger
#s for distribution at ALA and SLA)
devoted to Census2000 data.
As a part of this, she'd really
like to have articles on:
a. evaluations of software to manipulate
Census2000 digital-map data
(e.g., GDT; ESRI; Mapitude; etc.)
b. other aspects of Census2000
data that we in libraries use
to do ref work - e.g., statistics.

If you're interested, call or email Barbara
Quint at 310/451-0252 - [log in to unmask]
