Hello,

        I just wanted to let everyone out there in Map Land know that I have recently revised the WAML Map Librarian's Toolbox.  One of the new links is a list of antique map dealers (dealers that list web sites in Mercators World).  I thought that this might help others who deal with similar requests.  You can find the toolbox at:  http://gort.ucsd.edu/mw/waml/maptools.htm

I have a friend that own's the following:

    1845 Mitchell's National Map of the American Republic of North America
    Published by S. Augustus Mitchell

It is hand drawn with thirty principal cities and towns.

He is wanting to sell.  Any ideas where, worth, etc?
