For aesthetic reasons, perhaps a little more care should go into stamping this information onto the antique map, e.g., making sure the ownership information is straight, etc. than with a ordinary map, since these might go into an exhibit some day. I believe that acid-free stamp pad ink is available from supply houses if, that's a concern.
