According to www.dullmen.com, the official site of the (American) National
Council of Dull Men, the following 2 events are upon us:

Dull Events of the Month:

National Reading a Road Map Week:
April 4 - 10, a week dedicated to promoting map reading as an enjoyable
pastime and as a survival skill for drivers and armchair travelers. The
motto for the week is, "Happiness is knowing how to read a road map." For
info: Rosalind Schilder, [log in to unmask]

National Folding Road Maps Week:
April 11 - 17, a week dedicated to perfecting skills at folding all the
maps we read. Motto for the week, "Happiness is knowing how to fold a road
map."

Are any US libraries out there planning public mapreading or folding
activities?
