Maps-L Folk:
For those of you that did not get the Atlas of India message
because of its virus, here is yesterday National Atlas of India
message. It should be clean. The virus attaches itself to the
signature file in the HTML version and attacks microsoft browsers.
Those with Netscape should be ok, those with Outlook Express" should do
a virus check. This virus is fairly new and appears to be spreading
from France. The latest virus checker uploads should cover the virus.
Microsoft also provides a patch that should stop the virus.
Sorry for the problems. It is another reason why I dislike attachments
of all types. In this case, as in most cases, the sender of the
message had no idea there was a problem. This is really a software
problem.

Interesting that for this atlas there is such a price difference. In
the past 10 days, it has been advertised on MAPS-L by 2 different
companies with quite a large price difference. Bagchee Associates
advertises it for $1200.00 US and Mary Martin Booksellers advertises it
for $500.00 US
