Government Information Quarterly (GIQ) will host a reception at the spring
Depository Library Council meeting in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday April 17,
2005 between 7:00PM and 8:30PM in the Sheraton Old Town, Alvarado E.
Refreshments will be served.

Editors and members of the editorial board will be available to discuss the
journal and manuscript ideas that you may have for publication in GIQ.

Government Information Quarterly, an international journal of information
and technology management, policy, and practice, is particularly interested
in publishing scholarly and practitioner articles that explore topics such
as the:

-  Depository library programs' future in the digital environment;
-  Depository library programs' future within the context of homeland
security;
-  "Right to know" policies as understood through the distribution and
availability of government information;
-  Management of government information resources/services within a digital
library environment;
-  Issues involving the accessibility, usability, functionality and
long-term archiving of government websites;
-  Role of libraries in e-government initiatives at all levels of
government;
-  E-government policies, issues, and practice;
-  Archival policies affecting digital government information;
-  Comparative national, state and local government information resources
from around the globe;
-  Policy implications involved with government information services
directed to particular communities; and
-  Other manuscripts broadly related to government information management,
policy, and practice are also welcome.
