As for the "geepster" image, it may be interesting but some of the information is far from correct (except for being one of the few places to report correctly that the bus was travelling from Marble Arch to Hackey, which even the BBC didn't get right). Here lies a lesson for all those who work professionally with maps: the more people without training in cartography can easily make 'maps', the more careful we have to be to verify that the data is reliable. Another example was a map displayed at a recent conference that had been printed "from the most reliable sources" without stating what those sources were, and saying that the map had been "produced" and "published" by the commercial firm which had in fact only printed it from digital data. Apologies if this offends anyone, still a lot of sirens around here.
