They just announced their first case study using GIS which includes the data for a case examining toxic releases and applying the Toxic Release Inventory. Just another example of the spread of GIS outside geography, but something I thought you might be interested in having in your kit. Besides downloading the "printable" case materials you can order a CD with the ArcView readable data.
