Interdisciplinary and collaborative research and learning figure prominently in the institution’s priorities and are a focus of this position. The library supports the research, knowledge management, instructional and life-long learning needs of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff in the physical sciences (astronomy, chemistry, geology, physics), history of science & technology, and engineering (computing, aerospace, biomedical, civil, electrical, mechanical). The successful candidate will work with library colleagues to provide a full range of services, with an emphasis on forging new relationships with designated departments and creating new initiatives that respond to trends in scientific research in those departments.
