I use a tape measurer and like it a lot ... Recently I saw some nice measuring tapes at Pier One Imports - actually had both inches and metric, were fabric and were really pretty. Mine is a 26-footer, doesn't have to be that big but it allows me the flexibility of measuring anything from a small map out of a book to something that covers a 4 x 8-foot table (or bigger). You can find these most easily at sewing/fabric stores but also craft stores like Michaels. (and maybe even a meter stick too if you haven't been to a place like this) Paige At 10:36 AM 12/17/2007, Angie Cope wrote: >-------- Original Message -------- >Subject: aluminum meter stick? >Date: Mon, 17 Dec 2007 10:27:05 -0500 >From: Weessies, Kathleen <[log in to unmask]> >To: Maps, Air Photo & Geospatial Systems Forum <[log in to unmask]> > > >Our cataloger's aluminum meter stick has come up missing, and I >would like to get a new one.
