Dear friends,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the ICHC 2011 we are delighted
to invite you to the 24th International Conference on the History of Cartography
that will be held from Sunday, July 10 to Friday, July 15, 2011 in Moscow, Russia.

The general theme of the Conference is ⌠Multiculturalism in the History of Map Making■.

The following themes have been agreed by the organizers and Imago Mundi Ltd:
1. Cartographic Encounters: Exploration and Mapping
2. State, Maps, Society
3. Innovation and Tradition in Enlightenment Cartography
4. Mapping the  Sacred
5. And any aspects of the history of cartography

The deadline for proposals is October 25, 2010.
