I don't think that the Mexican Gov't has any mapping around 1:24,000.
The UA Library bought shapefiles for three of the border states that
correspond to the 1:50,000 topographic maps from EastView Cartographic.
You may want to check with them.

A student has asked me to help them find shapefiles for the Mexico City
area that have at least street level information. We have checked at
INEGI and the vector files they have for urban areas are more a the
state level and do not have enough detail for the student's purposes.

Can anyone suggest other sources of GIS files (inexpensive and
preferably free since this is a student class project) for this area
that is something in the 1:24,00 range?

Thanks,

Becky Lowery
