That we bought to use as a map cart. Unfortunately I don't remember brand or supply catalog. It's great for reshelving and cataloging assistance. -----Original Message----- From: Maps, Air Photo, GIS Forum - Map Librarianship [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Angie Cope, American Geographical Society Library, UW Milwaukee Sent: Friday, August 17, 2012 12:55 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Moving map cases ------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Moving map cases Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2012 15:17:09 -0400 From: Jason Glatz <[log in to unmask]> Reply-To: [log in to unmask] To: Maps, Air Photo, GIS Forum - Map Librarianship <[log in to unmask]> Hi Larry, I'm attaching two photos that might help you out with your book cart question. The map "cradle" pictured was fabricated before I started working here and it was based on a similar cart from the Library of Michigan. I don't know if I'd want to move a whole map collection using the cradle, but it is very useful moving smaller amounts of maps around our library. I'd be happy to send higher quality pictures and measurements if you or anybody else on list is interested. -- Jason Glatz Maps Coordinator Waldo Library 5353 Western Michigan University Kalamazoo, MI 49008-5200 (269) 387-5047 On 8/17/2012 12:11 PM, Angie Cope, American Geographical Society Library, UW Milwaukee wrote: > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Moving map cases > Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2012 09:48:28 -0600 (MDT) > From: Laurence S.
