I think I remember that you withdrew your print charts a year or so ago? The French Ministry of Overseas Departments/Territories <http://www.outre-mer.gouv.fr/> has a map <http://www.outre-mer.gouv.fr/IMG/pdf/polynesie.pdf>. Archipelagos are labeled in French, but you may have a tough time getting a detailed map of that area that isn't. Maybe there's also something on this French Polynesian gov't site <http://www.polynesie-francaise.pref.gouv.fr/>? The French Hydro agency map viewer <http://data.shom.fr/> will let you view raster nautical charts and download data--don't know what format, utility, etc. Or you could buy French hydro charts <http://www.shom.fr/fileadmin/SHOM/PDF/02-Produits/Catalogue/Grand_Catalogue_2013.pdf> in print. Hope that helps. mf -- Michael Fry Senior Map Librarian National Geographic Society 1145 17th St. N.W. She would prefer one that is digitized and is either copyright free or, obviously, one she can get permission to use. The ones I have found so far are unsatisfactory because the place names are in French, they don't show all five archipelagos, or they highlight certain islands. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Rob Rob Lopresti.
