GIS Day 2013 at UW-Milwaukee will be coming up on Wednesday, November 20 (9am-4pm). �

Wondering how to use your GIS skills to make a difference? Want to hear how Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (drones) can be used in GIS? Or do you want to sample some Open Source GIS skills?

We have it all at GIS Day!

The UWM GIS Council has again planned a full day of activities on campus that showcase area GIS projects and resources. All sessions are free, but registration is appreciated. Go to http://www4.uwm.edu/gis/gisday/register/index.cfm . Activities include concurrent hands-on workshops, presentations by area GIS professionals, a luncheon with featured speaker Dr. Mark Salling of URISA’s GISCorps, and a Map Gallery displaying numerous GIS projects by UWM and area agencies. With your involvement, the UWM GIS Council expects this event to be highly successful and as well-attended as last year. We hope you can participate.
