I'll retract the confident tone that I used. I have a bunch of the U2 ERTS test flights, but none are 9x18 and they aren't marked with ERTS information on the individual frames. BUT: what I have is film, so maybe prints got labeled differently. For this vintage, I think you should be able to tell visually whether theses are photos or satellite images. ALL LandSat 1 false-color IR prints have easily visible scan lines. If these are airphotos, they won't have the scan lines. Many of UCSB's NASA photographic ERTS flights have printed 'Flight Summary Reports' accompanying them (which we have more of than we have flights--some day I'll offer them up). Some FSR's are online, but many are not. I'd love to know of anyone has a comprehensive collection. My lastlook in WorldCat says no. -jon -- Jon Jablonski Map & Imagery Laboratory Davidson Library UC Santa Barbara 805-893-4049 library.ucsb.edu/mil On 1/17/2014 8:23 AM, Angie Cope, American Geographical Society Library, UW Milwaukee wrote: > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: Need to identify air photos > Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2014 16:21:41 +0000 > From: Mark Jackson <[log in to unmask]> > To: Maps, Air Photo, GIS Forum - Map Librarianship > <[log in to unmask]> > CC: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> > > > > Are they 9 x 18 inch aerials?
