NGIN was founded in the Fall of 1997 by a group of documents librarians in the Northwest Region. This is an independent organization whose primary purpose is to promote the effective use of government information published by all levels of government. Individuals or organizations interested in government information are welcome to join. Meetings are held twice a year in the Spring and the Fall.
