Subject: New online maps - National Grid maps - Edinburgh environs, 1940s-1960s
We've just made available our earliest editions of Ordnance Survey National Grid maps covering the Edinburgh environs - 750 maps.
We have focused on Edinburgh initially not just because it's the centre of the World, but as part of our collaborative work with the MESH Edinburgh Atlas project, to create a georeferenced layer of post-War Edinburgh mapping, and we plan to extend coverage geographically in the future.
