Hey Greg,

I no longer recommend Geolytics products, and instead steer patrons to Social Explorer, NHGIS, and other options listed on http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/data/cendata.html.  As far as I can tell, these two options provide everything except for normalized longitudinal data, for which I recommend the geodatabase built by UNC of LTDB from Brown U. (linked from the aforementioned webpage).

A researcher last spring wanted to use the NCDB to build upon earlier research that used it, so I found an old 32bit laptop to install it on.  That was the only time I've pulled out any geolytics cd's in the past year.
