Subject: Digital Coast Program User Survey

Dear colleagues,
The National States Geographic information Advisory Council is seeking input from the academic community on use of Digital Coast Partnership resources. See details below to respond to this survey. Deadline is October 17th.
Jeff Hamerlinck, University of Wyoming
Chair, UCGIS External Relations Committee

The National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC) is a member of the Digital Coast Partnership which involves seven other national organizations. We are strong supporters of Digital Coast and are trying to pull together ROI information regarding the value of Digital Coast to its actual users. We created a survey to gather information from the user community and have sent it out through the other organizations which include the American Planning Association (APA), Association of State Flood Plain Managers (ASFPM), National Estuarine Research Reserve Association (NERRA), National Association of Counties (NACo), The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). There are many users of Digital Coast within universities that are not members of these organizations. We are trying to reach out to that group, which may include you or your organization.

If you are a User of Digital Coast, you can help ensure the future of this program by providing some information on how you use it. NSGIC will make this information publicly available to support the Digital Coast Program. Please try to find time to take the survey at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DCROI . The survey will be closed at COB on Friday, October 17th.

Take Care
