As we are planning to rearrange our University Archives area, we need to know about the weights of the archival materials and their containers. So once again, I am asking for help. We have a number of map containers, filled to various amounts. Is there an average weight for a 5-drawer unit map case, perhaps even a weight per square foot? I can find out the weight of empty cases, but filled is a bit harder. Thank you in advance for any help you can give. Larry -- Laurence S. Creider Head, Archives and Special Collections Dept.
