Dear all

Please join us for the 2015 Map Curators' Group Workshop in York on Tuesday 8 September.

The theme this year is:

"New maps for old: repurposing and reusing map collections for digital users"

The workshop provides an ideal opportunity to meet people, exchange views and news and learn what is happening in the map curating world.

The programme can be found at http://www.soc.org.uk/mappingtogether/programme.html

Why not stay on for the Historical Military Mapping Group workshop later that day, or even the whole of the BCS-SoC Conference which is taking place on 8th, 9th and 10th September at the same venue.

Rose Mitchell from The National Archives will be giving the Helen Wallis Memorial Lecture between 6pm and 7pm on the 8th. Her intriguing title is "Making maps: the untold stories". The Map Curators’ Group Business Meeting is the same day after dinner.

Registration details are at http://forms.geoinformationgroup.co.uk/

You do not have to be a member of the British Cartographic Society, the Society of Cartographers, the Map Curators' Group or the Historical Military Mapping Group to attend,

****Early bird booking is open until 17th July 2015****
