Hi all,

 

I just did the math, and the correct scale according to my calculations, comparing 2 points on the map I’m cataloging with 2 points on a 7.5 minute topo, is 1:17,257.  So it looks like the ratio statement on my map of 1:17,500 is closer than the 1 inch = ¼ mile statement.  But we’re still off a bit.  What would you do?
