Hello,
We here at the UCSB Map & Imagery Lab
have a collection of thirteen Fairchild Aerial Surveys atlases
containing indexes to associated air photos (see attachments). In the
interest of increasing storage efficiency, and facilitating scanning of
the atlases, we are considering unbinding the atlases, and storing the
contents in large, flat cardboard boxes. If any of you think this is not
the greatest idea, or if you have a better idea for how to deal with
the atlases, please let us know. Thank you!
