Hello all-

I am working with an Anthropology faculty member who is interested in locating detailed, street-level maps of antebellum Vicksburg and Natchez, Mississippi.  While there are several 19th century maps online (LOC, David Rumsey, etc.) they all appear to lack the level of detail the researcher needs.  He is not interested in the Civil War maps that document broad-scale troop movements, etc.

Any advice?  Are there map collections/libraries in Mississippi that might have items that can be scanned/shared?

Thanks in advance!
