It is with a heavy heart that I share news of the recent passing of Dean Rogers. Dean retired in 2014 after a long career in service to our community as a Map Cataloger for the United States Geological Survey. He died at his home in Reston, Virginia. 

Dean will be laid to rest after services at the Murphy Funeral Home in Fall Church, Virginia this Tuesday, December 20, 2016, starting at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, everyone is encouraged to make a contribution to your favorite charity in Dean's name.  --
