Northwestern is facing these issues. A move of the documents and map collection will require downsizing maps in order to fit into the new space. We anticipate
downsizing our print USGS topo collection which is currently national in scope to focus on the Midwest region.

Looking for information about parameters and guidelines for reducing map collections.
Re-purposing of space stated as reason for the need to downsize.
Are there any Illinois or other State universities that have input for this type of project?
