Our collection of Russian Military Maps would be perfect for this! Unfortunately, it seems we don’t have the sheet that covers Chlopy. Still might be worth checking out: https://libraries.indiana.edu/cyrillic-maps Most of these are from the 1920’s-1940’s, and it’s possible that the 1:50,000 sheet might give you enough detail, depending on what the researcher needs. The Library of Congress has a more complete set…If you know the sheet number (you can use our online index map. I think you’d need M-37-102-Б) you might be able to request from them. - Theresa Quill Social Sciences Librarian (GIS/Maps) Indiana University Bloomington [log in to unmask] From: "[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>" on behalf of Heather Ross Reply-To: "[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>" Date: Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 8:59 AM To: "[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>" Subject: Re: Looking for a town/city map of Chlopy, Poland in the 1920s I have used this website for historic Polish maps. According to the researcher, we used to have one and has seen it, but was lost in the flood (2004). I think it is now Peremozhne (known as Khlopy until 1945), L′viv, Ukraine. Note, it's not the Chlopy in north-west Poland along the Baltic coast. If I have my history correct for this purpose, Chlopy was in Poland from 1919-1939, German from 1941-1944, Soviet Union from 1945-1991, and Ukraine from 1991-. Any suggestions for a Chlopy Poland town/city map from that period?
