The Library of Congress has rotating exhibits featuring original items in our permanent exhibit space.

Directly outside the Geography and Map
Reading Room is a tiny foyer display that we fill with facsimiles.  As the cases have limited security we do not display originals is these tiny cases.

Subject: Suggested Resources for Designing Map Exhibits?

Hello everyone,

I'm in the early stages of designing a rotating map exhibit area that will feature maps from the library collection and am wondering if anyone has any resources or suggestions that they would be willing to share, especially regarding the types of exhibit display cases that work best and/or any resources for developing map exhibits that are eye-catching. Any and all resources are appreciated.

Thank you,
Sarah Watson
