Hello all, A question for those experts in Canadian topographic maps. We're doing an inventory of our 1:50,000 NTS set and we've come across quite a number of sheets that have the words "metric" and "metrique" along the top edge of the map. The one's we're looking at are for the NWT, b&w (grayscale), printed in different years and have differing edition statements. Some have this "statement" while other don't. I was wondering if there was some significance to having the map say it's in metric vs not having it on the sheet? When I compare the two types I can't see any difference but I could be missing something. Thanks, Dennis Dennis G.
