I came across this image of an artsy and expensive coffee table ($25K!) using 2D topographical mapping in 3D. I must say it’s a fabulous layering of wood and glass that gives you the impression that you’re hovering over the planet, staring into the depths of the ocean. Hurry and buy yours now…there are only 9 of them left! (Nine? For $25K I’d expect it to be one of a kind!)
