A few people have contacted me offline about my fire insurance map libguide. All the online databases are so wonderful but one in particular is especially great.

The Alabama Inspection and Rating Bureau Insurance Maps are manuscript insurance maps. They were scanned by  the University of Alabama  and then made available via the Alabama Department of Archives and History digital collection.
