We collect catalogues from rare map dealers and auction houses.
We also collect Australian government and commercial publisher map catalogues, mainly for purposes of keeping series indexes, lists etc for collection description work, but also to help answer patron enquiries, and as a documentary record of cartographic publishing ephemera.

This collection domain relates to the collections of maps, atlases and globes and to geographical literature. The vast scale of these collections is due partly to the loan of the library and map collection of the Koninklijk Nederlands Aardrijkskundig Genootschap
(KNAG, the Royal Dutch Geographical Society) in 1880.
