Hi everyone: Yes, we are! At the University of Arizona, our Special Collections dept. has an exhibit, opening event and series of talks, see http://speccoll.library.arizona.edu/exhibits/moon. There’s also a number of events planned campus-wide, https://uanews.arizona.edu/story/mapping-moon-and-worlds-beyond Chris Chris Kollen Data Curation Librarian University of Arizona Libraries 1510 E. This certainly would be a great opportunity for the depository to shine. You could: -- Invite astronomers to speak about the significance of the event and what the future entails. -- Talk about water in the moon. -- Use titles and posters featuring NASA astronauts, CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, Congressional hearings, etc from the collection. -- Feature video of the lunar landing -- Create programs for kids to get them excited about astronomy such as NASA coloring books. -- Get science teachers to do nifty experiments and demonstrations There are so many things you could do.
