We are building on this work with a collections as data project called On the Books: Jim Crow and Algorithms of Resistance. We are creating a plain corpus of NC Laws, and will do text analysis to find Jim Crow laws. If you are interested, here's the press release: https://library.unc.edu/2018/12/on-the-books-grant/ And the project website: https://unc-libraries-data.github.io/OnTheBooks/ (with more information forthcoming). Can anyone tell me if this was a one-off or are there other 1:250,000 topo sheets of the coterminous US that also show slope rather than topography? We're not sure whether to catalogue this map as a single, a series, or just include a note about it in our US 250k topo series record. Does anyone have any ideas? So far, I've come up with is the following citation: Jr, Alton Hornsby (23 August 2011).
