Greetings!

The WAML 2019 (Western Association of Map Libraries) meeting is coming up fast next month in Reno (Sept. 18-21) and I'm excited to announce that the program is now live! http://www.waml.org/conf/program/
I am really excited about the program and want to thank all of our speakers.

A couple other updates and reminders about the meeting:
Conference Hotel --  The conference rate at the Whitney Peak Hotel is available for reservations made by Tuesday, August 27. Reservations may be made by calling the hotel.

Don't forget to register if you haven't yet and are planning to attend: http://www.waml.org/conf/registration/

As part of trying to keep our environmental footprint down we're encouraging you to reuse a lanyard/name-tag holder from a previous conference and bring your own refillable water bottle and coffee mugs. BYOS (bring your own swag), if you will :) But don't worry, there will be new stickers!

Finally, we still have a few spots for lightning talks. If you've been on the fence about presenting something, I encourage you to sign up for a lightning talk slot

Please let me know if you have any questions and I'm excited to see many of you next month!

Best,
Susan
