Engineering and Computer Science Librarian

Syracuse University Libraries is hiring an Engineering and Computer Sciences Librarian. The Engineering and Computer Science Librarian will be a member of the Libraries’ department of Research and Scholarship and will serve as a liaison for the College of Engineering and Computer Science, ensuring that Libraries’ services and collections support the academic and research needs of students and faculty in those areas. The Engineering and Computer Science Librarian will provide outreach, research assistance, information literacy instruction, and contribute to collection development for the College.

Within the Libraries, the Engineering and Computer Science Librarian will collaborate with colleagues who are passionate about providing excellent service. This position will work closely with the Information Literacy Program to provide library instruction across the campus and within the department to support new modes of scholarship, the creation and distribution of open content, and to provide research data support.

Social Science Librarian

Syracuse University Libraries is hiring a Social Sciences Librarian. The Social Sciences Librarian will be a member of the Libraries’ department of Research and Scholarship and will serve as a liaison for the Maxwell School and select social science departments at the University, ensuring that Libraries’ services and collections support the academic and research needs of students and faculty in those areas. The Social Sciences Librarian will provide outreach, research assistance, information literacy instruction, and contribute to collection development for the assigned areas.

Within the Libraries, the Social Sciences Librarian will collaborate with colleagues who are passionate about providing excellent service.
