Good morning all,

This is just an incredibly biased opinion but I love your WWII StoryMap, Heather! It makes me so happy to see our OSS maps being used like this and with a similar MO of having my student assistants work on StoryMaps along with their more boring tasks 🙂, this gives me a great example to show them. Thank you!

Cheers,
Andria

Hi Maps-L,

Here are a few of Penn State's digital projects. All have been done with students.

  * State College/Penn State Sanborn "change through time"<https://psu-libs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=8b8e085ddc4746bb9dcac35c62bfd1f9> (Students georeferenced maps of Penn State campus, digitized the building footprints and building information. Then they linked PSU Library digital collections to the buildings. Uses ESRI Story maps)
  * State College Land Use Change Through Time<https://psu-libs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=27bb816e8dad4f8098603c0c59d04be5> (Same students had coded the buildings for land use. Uses ESRI Story maps)
  * World War II OSS Maps<https://pennstate.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Cascade/index.html?appid=392cd1e3f9364cf59405dd5ad3121bcd> (Students georeferenced and digitized OSS maps from our collection. Each student did map(s) of interest and then created story maps on their own. A single story map was made for the whole project. Uses ESRI Story maps.)
  * World War II OSS Maps Group Gallery<https://pennstate.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MinimalGallery/index.html?appid=57fe7ab563d24f1e924caf45cb1bb088> (Individual feature layers and web maps from above project:
