Jay,

What a great idea! Best Map Category. I would hope we would then all become members of the Academy to be able to vote.

Best,

Julie

Subject: McMaster's collection map used in 1917 movie - Gord Beck in the CBC

Forwarded from the Carta-L list.

Happy Saturday, everyone.

If you've not already come across it, I thought you might enjoy seeing Gord Beck in this CBC news story<https://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/1917-canadian-contribution-1.5450608>, discussing the WWI trench map from McMaster's collection that was used in the movie 1917. We're currently lobbying the Academy to introduce a 'best map' category.

Have a nice weekend,

Jay
