Hello Michael.
Sanborn published a single volume set of Tulsa maps in 1915. Volume 2 was published in 1923 followed by Volume 3 in 1932 and volume 1 in 1939. Your best hope is to find a copy of the 1915 volume that has been revised to around your time
period. Since volume 1 was published in 1939, most copies of the 1915 edition will be revised until close to that.
I can think of three other locations to try. The City of Tulsa will likely have one or more sets of maps. They may only have the most recent set of basemaps, but they may also have older ones such as 1915. These will sometimes be found
in a single office and sometimes they may be located in multiple offices. Planning and Zoning, Historic Preservation, a city library, Building Inspections, and the City Clerk’s Office are all candidates. The county may have copies as well (Surveyor’s office
is another one to try). Finally, I would check with the state historical society. If you can find any other historical societies or libraries that collect for that area, you could try them as well. On occasion, someone else may have a copy but they may
be hard to find (as an example, Tulane University holds a collection of Mississippi and Louisiana maps with different revision dates than commonly seen).

Hi,
A colleague of mine is after Sanborn maps of Tulsa, OK ca. 1920. I'm hoping those of you with Sanborn chops can help w/ some intel (and, perhaps, imagery).
We've seen the 1915 maps at LoC, but my colleague feels that there is perhaps a 1920 edition that would be better. Alas, our efforts with several institutions in OK (Tulsa public library, Tulsa Historical Society, Univ. of OK) have not
been fruitful. We've rec'd copies that appear to be from a 1920 effort, but they are lo-res B&W images.
Can anybody clarify the existence of a 1920 set, provide imagery, point us in a direction, etc.? (We need hi-res, color versions of sheets 4, 8, 9, 51, and 55, as well as the color legend and the spatial index sheet.)
