CARTO 2021 CALL FOR PROPOSALS. Please forgive cross-posting and share as appropriate:
The 53rd annual conference of the Association of Canadian Map Libraries and Archives (ACMLA-ACACC) will be held virtually from June 14-16, 2021 between 1-3PM EST.

The 53rd annual ACMLA/ACACC CARTO conference will be held online. With that in mind, the theme this year is Old Is New Is Old. Presenters are encouraged to submit their presentations, posters, and other multimedia work in mapping and geospatial fields for this June event, which promises to be a thrilling new take on the old conference format. This event will also include the ACMLA/ACACC annual general meeting, and some surprise social events!

We welcome submissions that tell diverse stories, that offer conference attendees suggestions of how they can implement or adapt lessons for their own work, and that have wide-reaching appeal. Although the positive outcomes are always something people want to hear, there’s also an appetite for learning about the things that didn’t go well, particularly any problems you faced and how others might avoid or handle them.

We welcome submissions for papers, presentations, panels, posters, and Lightning talks in English and French. Deadline for submissions is end of day Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021

Questions may be sent to the ACMLA executive (Francine Berish, Daniel Brendle-Moczuk, Martin Chandler, Dan Jakubek, Rosa Orlandini or Sheri Sunstrum)

Best,
Francine
