Could anyone on maps-l steer me to a general libraries listserv? 

I'm looking for a list, or lists, which deal with major research libraries, like, in the US, Lib. of Cong., New York Pub. Lib., the major university libraries, such as Harvard, Yale Princeton, Columbia, Stanford; but also major European libs., as the Brit. Lib., the Bib. Nationale, the Bayerische Statsbibliothek, and so on; I think quite a few of the main state libraries in the US, such as the Illinois University Library, Wisconsin University Library (yours, if I remember correctly), Kansas University Library, Minneapolis University Library, the California Melville System, the University of Texas libraries system, etc., could also be categorized as research libraries, even if not as well stocked as NYPL, Harvard, etc. This may be a daydream. There may not be such a thing as a listserv devoted to research libraries. If not, is there a list anywhere of all library listservs? I hope I'm not driving you crazy with this, but it would be of great value to me to get onto such a list as described above, although, as said, no such may exist.
