I too would like to hear more about this.  Of the most commonly
used applications, a Google Maps type interface might be easier
for people to navigate.  Something where they could enter their
address would be nice.  There are probably a good number of
people who could not find their location on a map :-(

We are all very familiar with the bulletin board displays of a map & people place a pin in the map where they are from.

I was wondering if anyone has done that with a touch-screen display?  A virtual map with virtual pins.  I have done things using GIS, etc., but I am thinking of actual public interactive display.  Something akin to a tablet on a wall.

Love to hear if you have done it.  How?
