Dear colleagues, You might know that a few years ago I was a co-editor on a crowd-sourced atlas about water as part of the non-profit Guerrilla Cartography <https://www.guerrillacartography.org/>. We've been working on a new atlas on the theme of Shelter throughout the pandemic and are excited to be at the fund-raising stage of things now in order to raise funds to print the atlas. The Kickstarter campaign goal <https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/guerrillacartography/shelter-an-atlas> is to raise $20,000 by October 30. There are many different levels of support and every bit helps, but the minimum contribution to receive a physical copy of the atlas is $40. See below for a link and details. This builds on top of Guerrilla Cartography’s past successful Kickstarter campaigns that allowed us to publish both “Food: An Atlas” and “Water: An Atlas.” If we surpass our goals, funds will be used to support Guerrilla Cartography's activities and mission, including distributing additional atlases to schools and libraries free of charge and hosting free cartography workshops.
