Dear colleagues,
You might know that a few years ago I was a co-editor on a crowd-sourced atlas about water as part of the non-profit Guerrilla Cartography. We've been working on a new atlas on the theme of Shelter throughout the pandemic and are excited to be at the fund-raising stage of things now in order to raise funds to print the atlas.

The Kickstarter campaign goal is to raise $20,000 by October 30. There are many different levels of support and every bit helps, but the minimum contribution to receive a physical copy of the atlas is $40. See below for a link and details.

Thank you for considering becoming a backer of Shelter: An Atlas and please share widely with anyone you think may also be interested in this project!
Best,
Susan

The “Shelter: An Atlas” Kickstarter is LIVE!

To get this latest atlas project past the finish line, Guerrilla Cartography today is launching a Kickstarter with the goal to raise at least $20,000 to cover printing and shipping costs. This builds on top of Guerrilla Cartography’s past successful Kickstarter campaigns that allowed us to publish both Food: An Atlas and Water: An Atlas.

If we surpass our goals, funds will be used to support Guerrilla Cartography's activities and mission, including distributing additional atlases to schools and libraries free of charge and hosting free cartography workshops.

We hope everyone in our guerrilla community can contribute to the Kickstarter and order their copy of “Shelter: An Atlas.” If you can't afford to donate at this time, we hope you will join us in spreading the word about this project.
